Hazardous Chemical Processing

Hazardous Chemical Processing

Process Systems International Limited has been supplying equipment to the chemical and heavy chemicals industries over many years now.

Manufactured using fabricated construction methods, utilising machined-from-solid techniques from certified billet, bar and plate materials for wet-end components, has enabled PSI to meet the materials requirements of some very difficult and arduous applications by utilising any commercially- available material. This has significant advantages, giving a much greater service life over cast products.

PSIL’s range of horizontal and vertical pumps are substantially built to meet these often problematic design requirements.

Typical applications include:

  • Hydrochloric, Sulphuric and Nitric acids
  • Caustic solutions
  • Molten salts and metals
  • Titanium tetrachloride
  • Titanium dioxide
  • Phosphorus
  • Electrozinc galvanizing
  • Phthalic anhydride
  • Uranium nitrile
  • Nitroglycerine in nitric acid
  • Ammonium nitrate
  • Pottasium nitrate
  • Wet process phosphoric acid
  • Oleum
  • Storm water / slops / drains
