Constructed from a range of more than 25 certified, wrought billet materials — from carbon steels to high nickel alloys, titanium and zirconium — PSIL has supplied pumps vertical and horizontal pumps for these applications in Africa and the UK.

Using form milled-from-solid components, PSIL’s pumps have a dense, homogenous structure many times stronger than those constructed from castings.

Non-hydraulic end components including bearing houses and baseplates are available in 304L and 316L Stainless Steel, to mitigate the corrosive effects of H2S04-laden atmospheres in some processes.

PSIL’s pumps have been deployed in tank houses, solvent extraction, leach processes and electrolyte handling.

Clients include Anglo-American, Charter Consolidated, Selection Trust, BP Minerals, ZES, ZCCM, Davy Powergas NFM Division, Delta Metals and Southwire Corporation in locations such as Zambia, Botswana, Chile, the USA and UK
